Sorry for the delay, but lots of under the hood work has been done in addition to building the new database. But the time has come for the next Beta of Teaboy. Please go to the Downloads (http://www.teaboyaudio.com/tba/download2.php) section and download this latest version. we really appreciate the feedback and comments so we can get it up and running as soon as possible. Please use the Bugs (http://www.teaboyaudio.com/forum/forumdisplay.php?f=11) section of the user forum to notify us of bugs you find, or to check for known bugs. Also make sure to keep your previous version in case something in the new version breaks and prevents you from working. And as always, make sure to print a PDF of all your work to insure you won't lose any data.
New Features:
Folders: gear in the gear list can now be organized into folders by right clicking on the root folder in the gear list. You can create sub-folders within sub-folders and use them to organize your gear and disable groups of gear at once.
Sticky notes: Comments have now been implemented in the form of sticky notes. Under the Gear menu is the option to add comments and remove comments. You can size the sticky note to your liking and drag it about the screen for best view.
New Printing: The whole printing system has been rebuilt to be more efficient and should resolve the bugs with pages being mis-titled.
New Layout: The layout of Teaboy has been changed to allow you to see each section in the left pane. Clicking on the title of each section will open and close them to maximize space.
New Patchlist: The Patchlist has been re-written as the original one was just a proof of concept. You can add as many pages of patches as you would like and each page provides 48 patch points. If you have used the older patchlist in projects, make sure to save those projects as a PDF as the data will not be compatible with the new version.
Scrolling in Console: The console section has been unusable for people with small monitors and now creates scroll bars so those with very small monitors can utilize this section.
Help Menu: A convenient Help menu that will take you to various help sections of the forum/website. Also, the links to manuals, and gear pages have been moved to the help menu to help those who have small monitors.
Presets Menu: The Presets have been given their own menu that appears on gear which has presets created for it. This will help save space for those with small monitors.
Lots of Bug fixes: Many bugs have been fixed. This doesn't mean there aren't any, but a lot of the previous ones have been addressed.
The more feedback the better so please let us know what is or isn't working and what you want added. We won't be able to add everything before release, but it's still important to know what everyone needs the most.
Thanks for Beta testing Teaboy!
