If you have some gear you would like to have added, then you can post the request in this forum. It's helpful if the piece of gear name is put in the title of the post. If it's a list of gear, this may not be practical so it's not any kind of hard rule, just a preference.
Helping with pictures:
If you wish to help and want to expedite things sending pictures can be helpful. Every piece of gear is different though. Some can be made form a single picture, others may require many many pictures for a single piece and in ways that are beyond the means of most people (camera equipment wise). However a single picture can sometimes be enough even to make a temporary mechanical drawing version. Here are some tips if you want to send in a picture of your gear:
* Try to take the picture as straight on as possible avoiding any angles.
* Try to use the highest quality possible. RAW camera files are preferred or as little compression as possible as this distorts the image.
* Focus. Make sure the picture is in focus. Before sending, open the image and see if you can make out the settings on the gear.
* Lighting. If your room is dark then the camera shutter will stay open longer any any movement will cause blurs. The solution is to either provide additional lighting (make sure it doesn't cause glare) or to use a tripod so as to avoid movement.
