7/21/2009 Teaboy Audio has revamped the web site. We created a new web site to be more functional and make finding information much easier.
6/1/2009 Teaboy 1.0 is released! As of today, Teaboy is finally complete and the Beta period has ended. Thanks to everyone who participated! Anyone with a beta account can subscribe with their existing account to use the Teaboy service and will be able to keep their previous work. Welcome any new users! We will now begin the next phase of adding new features to Teaboy as well as adding a lot more content.

4/15/2009 Teaboy is weeks away from being completed for release. Expect a release client in the next week. We've made a lot of huge changes in the underlying engine to improve speed and security as well as future expansion and versioning systems for projects.
3/12/2009 - Teaboy has hit 700 pieces of gear!! Teaboy Release client should be out within the next couple of weeks so heads up everybody.
1/24/2009 - Teaboy has hit 600 pieces of gear!! Now the biggest collection of recall sheets in existence!
12/11/2008 - Teaboy BETA 0.7 is ready!! Go to the download section of the website to download the newest version.
12/02/2008 - As of 6pm EST Thursady December 4th we will be switching over to a new database system. There is a chance that this could result in some down time, though we don't anticipate any. All Beta testers will be receiving instructions on what to do for the change-over.
11/30/2008 - Teaboy now has over 500 pieces of audio gear!! Since the AES show we have added over 100 pieces of gear and have hundreds more planned.
Some big changes are planned for this next week. A new beta should be ready this week and we will be replacing the current database with a brand new one. This means that everyone will have to change over and there could be a brief interruption in service. However we will give a heads up in the next day or two along with instructions. No data will be lost, but everyone may need to re-enter their passwords. The User Forum will also be replaced with a new one and the login/password for Teaboy will be syncronized with the User Forum. Beta testers will also now be able to modify their account information, password, e-mail address, etc.

10/16/2008 - Teaboy is awarded a 2008 Pro Audio Review Excellent award!
10/7/2008 - The 125th AES show was a huge success! It was great to see how many people are looking forward to the project. We're also up to 400 pieces of gear and hope to have over 500 by the end of the year. We'd like to thank everyone that came to AES and showed their support.
8/8/2008 - Teaboy Just hit the 300 mark!! Over 300 pieces of gear are now in the library with many many more on the way!

It looks like the first stage of the service should be ready by AES 2008 in October where we plan on demonstrating Teaboy. As soon the details of AES get squared away we will post the information. A public beta will be released for everyone to try. This will let everyone get an idea for how it works, offer suggestions, point out bugs,. make requests before the actual release of the service. It will also help us gauge the usage, the expenses, and the needs of users from which we can determine the cheapest price for the user while being able to maintain the service.
